“Seven or eight years ago I was in a photo studio with Pauly to have his five or six year old photo taken. In the studio was a woman with her daughter, also there to take photos. The woman was Susan, who asked about Pauly and shared that she had a son with Down Syndrome too.

She told me about 21 Strong and would send me emails of events. I am so glad that I had met her. Because of her, I am blessed to meet people like me who are trusted to have someone with Ds.

I also thank her because introducing to me to 21 Strong, introduced me to many other families in the Ds community.  I truly miss seeing Susan, Michael and their family at the activities since they have moved.”
