NINA VICTORIA

Picture
Picture
Nina was born on her mom's birthday on Nov 13th, 2008, 2 weeks early. We did not know she had Down syndrome- and she just seemed too tiny and cute and precious to have anything be "wrong" with her.
She was and is very healthy and strong.
She's a true doll in every way. Loves to play with her friends and her older brother Alec who is 5. She's now over a year and half and she loves to walk "wa wa", climb stairs, clap, sing "la la", music, gym class, playing in waves at the beach, and will always give you a big "hi" and "bye".
She's the love of all our lives.

Summer 2010...the beach!

Nina posing at the beach, makes her look like a princess but she attacks those waves, and eats sand to boot!

Nina loves the beach, every time she's fast sleep and we carefully place her on the blanket under the umbrella she pops up, looks around and grabs sand, toys, and wants to walk to the water and have our picnic!
She loves water! She turns to walk straight into the waves and when they splash her face, she cracks up!
She's so alive with heart and soul, that's what if feels like, she's invigorated by the water and then so are we!
Playing on the sandbar with Nina and her big bro Alec was the highlight of the summer!

This is my big bro...he's the best. I like to tickle him!

Nina and Michael enjoyed checking out each other's costumes at the October playgroup. What will Nina be next year? Dora? Or Alec's chicken costume...
