"This is Irving Jr. He was born 6 weeks early in December 2016 and was diagnosed prenatally with Trisomy 21. I knew throughout my pregnancy about his diagnosis and had no clue there were support groups. Irving Jr. was in the hospital for the first 3 months of his life. Finally, overwhelmed and scared, I started looking online and found 21 Strong. They reached out to me that night. They are very important to my family because we truly feel at home. Someone who understands how we feel, besides what other people or doctors may have to say. 21 Strong is a part of our family and I’m truly grateful to have them in my life."
