“I got started with 21 Strong the day after Andy was born, when it all fell apart.  By the grace of God, Corinne walked in and literally saved me. She was a breath of fresh air and a light at the end of a very dark tunnel. She made me really believe it would be ok and that it would be hard but it would be beautiful and amazing. She was right. She is and always will be an angel to me for what she did for me that day. She then put me in touch with Susan. Susan connected us with the CT Down Syndrome Congress who sent a beautiful welcome package! From 21 Strong, I gained a new group of amazing friends, a group of women that I hold so dear to my heart. Women that helped me pick up the pieces when life was hard. Women who sent meals to our family when Andy had heart surgery and was sick in the hospital. Women that I cried to, laughed with and for the first time felt like the world made sense with. I wasn't alone. 21 Strong is like family to me. These women became family and I adore each and every one of them. 21 Strong is a group of the most loving, loyal and amazing people I've ever had the privilege  to know and I'm lucky enough to not only call some of these women my friends but also consider them family. Our Angels were born and gave me the gift of true friendship through 21 Strong.”
